The corner ended in Dušan Tadić almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.D.ESMOJÃES's Laureano Rijo did a great save. With an all-out effort, A.D.ESMOJÃES's Ron Boemans threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonas Garcia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Laureano Rijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludwig Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-0 became the score in the 21st minute when Jonas Garcia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ricardo Souto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ron Boemans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Podador Escudero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, TurboUC's goal looked a bit too open when Éder Palma came free, but Ron Boemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olo Planes charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olo Planes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of A.D.ESMOJÃES booed when TurboUC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olo Planes didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, TurboUC's Ron Boemans got control of the ball when Nicolaas Anelka tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ludwig Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ludwig Hellström was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, TurboUC's Ludwig Hellström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Ludwig Hellström succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 54th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Bulhosa in the 60th minute of play forced TurboUC's goalkeeper Ron Boemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ron Boemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Jonas Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Nicolaas Anelka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ron Boemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludwig Hellström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laureano Rijo having to make a save. 68 minutes into the match, TurboUC's Ludwig Hellström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laureano Rijo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan González might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laureano Rijo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan González ran back to his position shaking his head. TurboUC's Bernardo Collovati was substituted for Iwan Lepper. Ron Boemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Baldaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Éder Palma shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ron Boemans showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Felipo Manzano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Laureano Rijo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A.D.ESMOJÃES were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of TurboUC for a fine match.
