The referee ignored Klagstorp's protests and gave Bertil Wallgren a yellow card for diving instead. Bertil Wallgren hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bora Han Öğün in the 31st minute of play forced Klagstorp's goalkeeper Ma Bang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ma Bang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Harendarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Batuhan Bilgin got free with Ma Bang in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the match, Klagstorp's goalkeeper Ma Bang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Batuhan Bilgin.
