The supporters of Aros Vättar booed when Klagstorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Wallgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes Klagstorp got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Wallgren. After 20 played minutes Aros Vättar got a freekick which was hit by Dick Lagerberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Wallgren in the 22nd minute of play forced Aros Vättar's goalkeeper Helge Brandin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Rune Lagerberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Helge Brandin. Aros Vättar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rune Lagerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Aros Vättar's Helge Brandin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Aros Vättar from getting a goal against them. Dick Lagerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ma Bang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dick Lagerberg made a kick off. Helge Brandin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Lagerberg in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Klagstorp getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Markus Västerstrand hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match, Bengt-Åke Fors sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Ma Bang showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. In the 67th match minute, Klagstorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Lagerberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Ahlberg in the 69th minute of play forced Aros Vättar's goalkeeper Helge Brandin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pål Jonasson kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Ma Bang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dick Lagerberg in the 80th minute of the match. Aros Vättar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bengt-Åke Fors in the 82nd minute. The corner led to Aros Vättar's Dick Lagerberg getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 84th match minute, Klagstorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Västerstrand to maneuver through the defense. Dick Lagerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dick Lagerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ma Bang having to interfere. Klagstorp were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Aros Vättar for a fine match.
