Bastioes EC's Jairo Arantes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jeremie Van Nel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Bastioes EC's Adalberto Figueiredo got a free kick in the 21st minute. 29 minutes into the game, Olivar Ribeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Igor Marinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeremie Van Nel made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Mustafa Haydar Taci sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 38 minutes, Mustafa Haydar Taci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bastioes EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Haydar Taci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
