Severino Azpiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qian Xing Wei having to interfere. Atletico Aragua FC's Haitz Langarica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Ekelund in the 6th minute of play. Haitz Langarica made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Olof Högström sent off a good shot on target. Qian Xing Wei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Acebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnold Collins struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Qian Xing Wei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Aragua FC. Olof Högström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Haitz Langarica when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Qian Xing Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Azpiroz in the 20th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Eleven Nation Army's Haitz Langarica threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Åke Ekelund, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Olof Högström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Eleven Nation Army's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Azpiroz came free, but Qian Xing Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Atletico Aragua FC's Severino Azpiroz in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eleven Nation Army's goalie prevented a goal. Haitz Langarica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olof Högström in the 36th minute. When Atletico Aragua FC's Severino Azpiroz in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eleven Nation Army's goalie prevented a goal. Eleven Nation Army's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Azpiroz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After the first half Atletico Aragua FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olof Högström made a kick off. With his leg Qian Xing Wei managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Atletico Aragua FC's Severino Azpiroz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lauro Acebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Azpiroz got free with Qian Xing Wei in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Eleven Nation Army's Qian Xing Wei got control of the ball when Severino Azpiroz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Ekelund came free, but Haitz Langarica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Qian Xing Wei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lauro Acebal in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Eleven Nation Army's Otto Budjana got a free kick in the 68th minute. Atletico Aragua FC made a substitution. Txomin Risel replaced Christiano Fano. A collision led to Eleven Nation Army getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Otto Budjana hit a great ball. When Atletico Aragua FC's Severino Azpiroz in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Senthil Suşu in the 80th minute of play forced Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Haitz Langarica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atletico Aragua FC made a substitution. Derwin Ungo replaced Severino Azpiroz. After a rather tough play, Eleven Nation Army's Alexander Vedholm got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Atletico Aragua FC's Derwin Ungo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Derwin Ungo got free with Qian Xing Wei in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Qian Xing Wei was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Derwin Ungo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 95 minute of play. The Eleven Nation Army supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atletico Aragua FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Atletico Aragua FC.
