Atletico Aragua FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 6th minute Karamfil Shanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haitz Langarica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karamfil Shanov scored 0-2 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haitz Langarica, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Folker Stekelenburg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafe Vallina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bjorn Hebert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haitz Langarica having to interfere. Haitz Langarica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Meijering in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Roverberg S.C.'s goalkeeper Folker Stekelenburg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnold Collins. In the 23rd minute, Karamfil Shanov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Roverberg S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 26 minutes into the game, Roverberg S.C.'s Bjorn Hebert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haitz Langarica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Haitz Langarica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Meijering, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Haitz Langarica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Meijering in the 33rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Arnold Collins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Folker Stekelenburg was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. With a little luck, Roverberg S.C.'s Folker Stekelenburg got control of the ball when Arnold Collins tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Bizi Faubelo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Folker Stekelenburg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Roverberg S.C.'s Folker Stekelenburg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Roverberg S.C. from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gaspard Izquierdo made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Arnold Collins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folker Stekelenburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atletico Aragua FC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Roverberg S.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bizi Faubelo took the corner. After taking down the ball on Atletico Aragua FC's corner Bizi Faubelo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Folker Stekelenburg quite easily take care of the ball. Haitz Langarica made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Stef Borker sent off a good shot on target. Folker Stekelenburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Collins in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Roverberg S.C. booed when Atletico Aragua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bizi Faubelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atletico Aragua FC's Pedro Maldonado was substituted for Bizi Faubelo. Roverberg S.C. made a substitution. Erik Zegers replaced Roland Fransen. Bizi Faubelo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Karamfil Shanov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Haitz Langarica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lauro Acebal in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Folker Stekelenburg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 3-5 when Lauro Acebal sped through Roverberg S.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Folker Stekelenburg. 88 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's Rafe Vallina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Folker Stekelenburg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Miguel Echavarria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Arnold Collins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Aragua FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-6. If Otto Meijering had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Roverberg S.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
