After some careless play in the Basavilbaso FC defense, Charro Revuelta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orvar Bäckström. The Basavilbaso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orvar Bäckström should have stopped the shot. Orvar Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amund Villarreal, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Clemente Rubio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner led Spartak de Txurdi's Kucandana Fastergaard to fire away a dangerous shot which Orvar Bäckström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 27th minute, Venancio Lop got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Amund Villarreal made a precise shot to the right of Orvar Bäckström. Basavilbaso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Olo Hajs hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Charro Revuelta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Amund Villarreal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Orvar Bäckström, 5-0. Clemente Rubio scored 5-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justin Abril, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charro Revuelta made a kick off. When Spartak de Txurdi's Amund Villarreal in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Basavilbaso FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Charro Revuelta came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Spartak de Txurdi fans jumped to their feet. Spartak de Txurdi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Basavilbaso FC the free kick. The supporters of Basavilbaso FC booed when Spartak de Txurdi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olo Hajs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Basavilbaso FC's goalkeeper Orvar Bäckström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Amund Villarreal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Orvar Bäckström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Rubio got free with Justin Abril in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orvar Bäckström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amund Villarreal's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Amund Villarreal notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Basavilbaso FC's Orvar Bäckström. Orvar Bäckström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th minute, Venancio Lop left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Basavilbaso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. After 75th play minutes Amund Villarreal shot 8-2, a short shot which went by Orvar Bäckström and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 81st minute, Amund Villarreal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orvar Bäckström was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-2. 84 minutes into the match, Spartak de Txurdi's goalkeeper Justin Abril had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Rubio. 85 minutes into the game, Radomir Ratulowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Basavilbaso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spartak de Txurdi the free kick. After 85 played minutes Basavilbaso FC got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Ratulowski. Amund Villarreal struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Orvar Bäckström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spartak de Txurdi. The audience was convinced that Amund Villarreal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orvar Bäckström was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Amund Villarreal made a precise shot to the right of Orvar Bäckström. Basavilbaso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Basavilbaso FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Spartak de Txurdi.
