Phillip Glerum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 13 minutes, Antonio Alzamendi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Alzamendi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Phillip Glerum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peng Bing Jun in the 19th minute of play. Phillip Glerum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakob Bogren's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Coronel Revuelta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ghost Hunters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Coronel Revuelta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jósef Wandzik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adolfo Gipuzkoa's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Ghost Hunters's Jósef Wandzik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Ghost Hunters from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Bogren in the 42nd minute of play forced Saco FC's goalkeeper Phillip Glerum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute of the match Saco FC got a corner. Ghost Hunters's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chris Dhaussy ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Adolfo Gipuzkoa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ghost Hunters's Jósef Wandzik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Ghost Hunters from getting a goal against them. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ghost Hunters's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Dhaussy was slow to take the kick. During this time Saco FC's players had a chance to rest. Chris Dhaussy made a great header on Saco FC's corner, it was just that Ghost Hunters's Jósef Wandzik managed to reach the ball for a save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jakob Bogren made a kick off. Jósef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 69th minute of the match. With a little luck, Saco FC's Phillip Glerum got control of the ball when Sven-Oskar Rocheleau tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Henri-Patrick Grocholski fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ghost Hunters's protests and gave Henri-Patrick Grocholski a yellow card for diving instead. Adolfo Gipuzkoa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jósef Wandzik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Jakob Bogren in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Phillip Glerum, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Oskar Rocheleau got free with Phillip Glerum in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jakob Bogren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Phillip Glerum skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 95 minutes into the game, Ghost Hunters's Sven-Oskar Rocheleau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Phillip Glerum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ghost Hunters had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
