The corner went over the outstretched arms of Chute de Ouro FC's goalie and right to Benicio Eutropio. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Chute de Ouro FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivo Simões in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ye Yan Yu saved Cadáveres Voladores from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laércio Monteiro in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tor Echegoyen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ivo Simões made the kick off in the second half. Eric Simion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ye Yan Yu having to interfere. Tor Echegoyen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jurand Zawadzki's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Cadáveres Voladores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laércio Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Laércio Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Senio kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Ivo Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tor Echegoyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyo Fonelleda in the 84th minute of play. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
