Fisnik Qiraxhi went to the cornerflag to take it. Ilmi Duka made a great header on Albania's corner, it was just that Botev Plovdiv 1912's Joacim Dromph managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalkeeper Joacim Dromph, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Botev Plovdiv 1912 getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Przemyslaw Trynda hit a great ball. Mehat Kovaçi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Joacim Dromph proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Botev Plovdiv 1912 from getting a goal against them. Albania's Marjus Laçka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natanael Guedes in the 16th minute of play. Marjus Laçka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mehat Kovaçi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mehat Kovaçi struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Joacim Dromph didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albania. In the 33rd minute, Mehat Kovaçi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joacim Dromph. The goal made the score 2-0. If Mehat Kovaçi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Joacim Dromph got control of the ball when Mehat Kovaçi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalkeeper Joacim Dromph had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehat Kovaçi. The wind increased when Mehat Kovaçi made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natanael Guedes got free with Marjus Laçka in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Desislav Sergeev came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Botev Plovdiv 1912 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desislav Sergeev couldn't finish the play. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Joacim Dromph played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aulin Janku in the 59th minute of play. Albania's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fisnik Qiraxhi in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehat Kovaçi in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joacim Dromph prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
