Spectators: 7441 (Terracing: 5582, Seating: 1711, VIP seats: 148) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ildefonso Min got the match started through his kick off. When Arnulfo Palben came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the O rey Iván fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Palben couldn't finish the play. Roman Barrufet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Palben, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulfo Palben in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Barrufet saved Atlético Arenillas from getting behind. 13 minutes into the match, Atlético Arenillas's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Palben came free, but Roman Barrufet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Barrufet didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 24 played minutes Atlético Arenillas got a freekick which was hit by Alvarez Onis. Ildefonso Min, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Moises Quexal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pinto Anda in the 33rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as O rey Iván's Arnulfo Palben slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roman Barrufet. That made the score 2-0 after 37 minutes of play. With a little luck, Atlético Arenillas's Roman Barrufet got control of the ball when Ildefonso Min tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atlético Arenillas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Arnulfo Palben scored to the left of an out of position Roman Barrufet, making the score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Atlético Arenillas's Pinto Anda got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Zambrano Llanderrozos made the kick off in the second half. Atlético Arenillas's Alvarez Onis got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 59 minutes of play, O rey Iván's Arnulfo Palben made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Barrufet was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute Pinto Anda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Quexal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 played minutes Atlético Arenillas got a freekick which was hit by Wellington Piñeiro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Romelio in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Barrufet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 75 played minutes O rey Iván got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Ritchie. 80 minutes into the game, O rey Iván's Ildefonso Min nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Barrufet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The audience was convinced that Ramiro Romelio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Barrufet was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Roman Barrufet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Romelio in the 89th minute of play. When Zambrano Llanderrozos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 91 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Moises Quexal was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Atlético Arenillas booed when O rey Iván was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Gaspard didn't get a good kick on the ball. O rey Iván's Melchor Gaspard quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wellington Piñeiro, made in the 95th minute of the game.
