The Anderbye FC fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Anderbye FC's Renato Arantes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leandro Daneri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Eterno Campeón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anderbye FC the free kick. Anderbye FC's Renato Arantes got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, El Eterno Campeón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurín Munita to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 84th minute Renato Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Daneri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danél Van Schowen got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 85 played minutes El Eterno Campeón got a freekick which was hit by Danél Van Schowen. A collision led to Anderbye FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jorginho Montenegro hit a great ball. The supporters of Anderbye FC booed when El Eterno Campeón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurín Munita didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Anderbye FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Eterno Campeón.
