Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zé Roberto Mesquita started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Roberto Mesquita in the 3rd minute of play forced Chelsea Football Club's goalkeeper Felipe Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Acevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute Zé Roberto Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Acevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Gustavo de Castro made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Camilo Gasteiz sent off a good shot on target. Hílton de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Felipe Acevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chelsea Football Club's Ermegildo Hever got a free kick in the 19th minute. Chelsea Football Club's Felipe Acevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Roberto Mesquita in the 21st minute of play. If Agnaldo Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Acevedo came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Bezerros EC's Hélder Azevedo. But to his dismay, Hélder Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Agnaldo Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felipe Acevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Azevedo in the 34th minute of play. Felipe Acevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Roberto Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Acevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hílton de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Hélder Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Zé Roberto Mesquita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bezerros EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Felipe Acevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Azevedo in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Bezerros EC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Camilo Gasteiz to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Gasteiz in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Gustavo de Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 57 played minutes Chelsea Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Veremundo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Roberto Mesquita got free with Felipe Acevedo in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Chelsea Football Club's Felipe Acevedo got control of the ball when Zé Roberto Mesquita tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Roberto Mesquita got free with Felipe Acevedo in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ismael Tiniebra charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Tiniebra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Ismael Tiniebra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Chelsea Football Club's Felipe Acevedo got control of the ball when Zé Roberto Mesquita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chelsea Football Club's Ermegildo Hever got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Ermegildo Hever off the ground. Bezerros EC made a substitution. Adilson Ceresso replaced Hélder Azevedo. In the 70th match minute, Chelsea Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Hever to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Chelsea Football Club's Ismael Tiniebra got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Camilo Gasteiz kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Donato Ceresso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Felipe Acevedo. Chelsea Football Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Baldomiro Berdaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zé Roberto Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Roberto Mesquita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Felipe Acevedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bezerros EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
