But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arin Mndoyants couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the game, Arin Mndoyants recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gonzalo Fonticoba. Arin Mndoyants showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermenegildo Maldonado in the 23rd minute of play forced Khachatryan's goalkeeper Tigran Balayan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nereo Cacheres, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 25 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tigran Balayan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Khachatryan's Tigran Balayan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermenegildo Maldonado in the 27th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Arin Mndoyants had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzalo Fonticoba. Los once leones Ourense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arin Mndoyants was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Bernardo Caballero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Gonzalo Fonticoba skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Abel Avetisyan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Khachatryan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Avetisyan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonzalo Fonticoba was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arin Khachaturyan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 47 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Caballero in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Fonticoba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Los once leones Ourense's Gonzalo Fonticoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Caballero in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Romualdo Obis could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Tigran Balayan however easily saved by the left post. Tigran Balayan came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Los once leones Ourense's Hermenegildo Maldonado. But to his dismay, Hermenegildo Maldonado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Tigran Balayan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romualdo Obis in the 88th minute. Cesar Holland hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Tigran Balayan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Cacheres, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th match minute, Los once leones Ourense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Cacheres to maneuver through the defense. Khachatryan's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
