After some careless play in the Altamora FC defense, Costică Brânzaș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filinto Palhares. The Altamora FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filinto Palhares should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Altamora FC's Dário Pinheiro got a free kick in the 6th minute. Adam Bratiloveanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 7 minutes, Adam Bratiloveanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ and the Altamora FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute of the game, Nicodim Zogreanu landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 11 minutes into the game, Jacinto Moutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altamora FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ the free kick. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Iosif Taşcău was substituted for Nicodim Zogreanu. After 13 minutes of play, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Sorin Lipan made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filinto Palhares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute Basarab Rareș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filinto Palhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costică Brânzaș got free with Filinto Palhares in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Costică Brânzaș's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Filinto Palhares firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 31 minutes Altamora FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iustinian Spirea who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Iustinian Spirea to fire away a dangerous shot which Filinto Palhares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Altamora FC's Filinto Palhares got control of the ball when Costică Brânzaș tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Quintino Viveiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Ernest Ştati was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Altamora FC fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Altamora FC's Quintino Viveiros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ernest Ştati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Ventura in the 39th minute of play. Filinto Palhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costică Brânzaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Yuri Ventura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernest Ştati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quintino Viveiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dário Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ernest Ştati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ion Iftodi to make the kick off. Filinto Palhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costică Brânzaș, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54thth minute of the game Adam Bratiloveanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altamora FC's Filinto Palhares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 58 minutes of play, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Adam Bratiloveanu made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernest Ştati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintino Viveiros in the 66th minute of the match. Durval Horta kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Iustinian Spirea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filinto Palhares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ reached it. In the 71st minute Adam Bratiloveanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filinto Palhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Adam Bratiloveanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Filinto Palhares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Adam Bratiloveanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filinto Palhares was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Altamora FC's Filinto Palhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costică Brânzaș in the 77th minute of play. With 80 minutes on the clock, Osvaldo Vasques commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 80th minute, one of Altamora FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Altamora FC. The referee gave Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sorin Lipan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Altamora FC's Filinto Palhares. 6-2. Dário Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yuri Ventura in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ernest Ştati, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s zone, Dário Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernest Ştati came out of the goal and Dário Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernest Ştati came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Altamora FC's Jacinto Moutinho. But to his dismay, Jacinto Moutinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Dário Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altamora FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dário Pinheiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernest Ştati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goalkeeper Ernest Ştati had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Moutinho.
