In the 5thth minute of the game Héctor Mainer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Henter Somosd's Tihamér Rózsa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Héctor Mainer came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Achtung Babies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Héctor Mainer couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute, Zoltán Lázár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gábor Szénási got a throw-in 13 minutes in the game and the ball was received by László Balogh. FC Henter Somosd's Tihamér Rózsa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Héctor Mainer in the 14th minute of play. Héctor Mainer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tihamér Rózsa having to make a save. With a little luck, FC Henter Somosd's Tihamér Rózsa got control of the ball when Héctor Mainer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eurico Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from László Madaras in the 21st minute of play. Achtung Babies's Eurico Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emánuel Soltész in the 26th minute of play. László Balogh kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, FC Henter Somosd's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor Mainer came free, but Tihamér Rózsa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eurico Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kornél Szabados in the 34th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Héctor Mainer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tihamér Rózsa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Mainer, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emánuel Soltész in the 46th minute of play forced Achtung Babies's goalkeeper Eurico Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell László Madaras to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Achtung Babies's goal looked a bit too open when László Madaras came free, but Eurico Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute FC Henter Somosd were awarded a corner. Imre Bodnár went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC Henter Somosd's corner Imre Bodnár fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eurico Velloso quite easily take care of the ball. Imre Bodnár shot a long shot in the 53rd minute and a light blocked Eurico Velloso hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-1. Eurico Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kornél Szabados in the 56th minute. Achtung Babies's Osvaldo Sayveon quite brazenly broke a throw-in by László Balogh, made in the 59th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor Mainer in the 59th minute of play forced FC Henter Somosd's goalkeeper Tihamér Rózsa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Héctor Mainer in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tihamér Rózsa saved FC Henter Somosd from getting behind. Zoltán Lázár fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Velloso having to interfere. Achtung Babies made a substitution. Kobi Usabiaga replaced Héctor Mainer. When Selami Bilgen fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Achtung Babies's protests and gave Selami Bilgen a yellow card for diving instead. Selami Bilgen hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Achtung Babies's Eurico Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Achtung Babies from getting a goal against them. Kobi Usabiaga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tihamér Rózsa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Kornél Szabados shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Achtung Babies's Eurico Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Achtung Babies from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Henter Somosd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Osvaldo Sayveon was slow to take the kick. During this time Achtung Babies's players had a chance to rest. Tihamér Rózsa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kobi Usabiaga in the 76th minute of the match. After 78 minutes of play, Achtung Babies's Kobi Usabiaga made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tihamér Rózsa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zoltán Lázár was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee gave Achtung Babies a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kobi Usabiaga, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Henter Somosd's Tihamér Rózsa. 2-1. Tihamér Rózsa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kobi Usabiaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emánuel Soltész came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eurico Velloso could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kobi Usabiaga in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tihamér Rózsa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Henter Somosd's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
