The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, FC Henter Somosd's Frank Mees sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Vladimirescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu got control of the ball when Frank Mees tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute Joel Emeterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gábor Király saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, FC Henter Somosd's goal looked a bit too open when Lech Biskupiak came free, but Gábor Király reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu got control of the ball when Frank Mees tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gábor Király made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Emeterio in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, FC Henter Somosd's Frank Mees ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristian Vladimirescu. Cristian Vladimirescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 38th minute Lech Biskupiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gábor Király saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frank Mees's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Cristian Vladimirescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A well-hit corner resulted in Tamás Antal heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a little luck, Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu got control of the ball when Tamás Antal tried to sneak it across the goal line.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lech Biskupiak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Vladimirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Mees, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 52nd minute Frank Mees shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Vladimirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Mees in the 53rd minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute FC Henter Somosd were awarded a corner. Alvaro Koldo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Arnd Schade almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu did a great save. In the 56th minute of the match FC Henter Somosd got a corner. Riesgo Cero's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alvaro Koldo ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 59th minute Frank Mees shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Vladimirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Vladimirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamás Antal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Henter Somosd's Gábor Király played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lech Biskupiak in the 64th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match FC Henter Somosd got a corner. Riesgo Cero's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alvaro Koldo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Mees in the 72nd minute of play. With 75 minutes on the clock, Alvaro Koldo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Henter Somosd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Gábor Király had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Emeterio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamás Antal in the 78th minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Tamás Antal notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu. Cristian Vladimirescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gábor Király made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lech Biskupiak in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Riesgo Cero's Patryk Dziczek got a free kick in the 85th minute. Teodosio Lawrence hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 89 played minutes Riesgo Cero got a freekick which was hit by Joel Emeterio. Tamás Antal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Vladimirescu having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Ulises Ugaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Henter Somosd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Ugaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tamás Antal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Vladimirescu having to interfere.
