An unexpectedly hard shot by Valéry Morales in the 3rd minute of play forced ReyPoxo's goalkeeper Ofelio Estrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ofelio Estrada made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Valéry Morales sent off a good shot on target. Ofelio Estrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valéry Morales in the 8th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Valéry Morales left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vancouver Reds fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ofelio Estrada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valéry Morales in the 11th minute. Ofelio Estrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harlan Correa, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Igor Quintana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Claudio Plante helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ReyPoxo getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Sotero Orozco hit a great ball. The long shot by Claudio Plante in the 33rd minute really tested Ofelio Estrada's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Hassan Barth's late challenge caught a ReyPoxo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hassan Barth helped the player get up and apologised. Hassan Barth hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Sotero Orozco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Will McMahon. Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, ReyPoxo's goalkeeper Ofelio Estrada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valéry Morales. In the 39th minute, Valéry Morales left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vancouver Reds fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 43 minutes into the game, Vancouver Reds's Frankie Carnes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ofelio Estrada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. A hard shot 46 in the game by Valéry Morales from a close distance when the talented Ofelio Estrada managed to make a qualified save. ReyPoxo's players were relieved. In the 48th play minute Valéry Morales came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ofelio Estrada. 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valéry Morales made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valéry Morales in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ofelio Estrada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rufio Caballero kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vancouver Reds's zone, Columbo Carceles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Will McMahon came out of the goal and Columbo Carceles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Will McMahon made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Andrés Olmos sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, ReyPoxo's Rufio Caballero got a free kick in the 60th minute. Bradley Ferrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valéry Morales in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ofelio Estrada saved ReyPoxo from getting behind. Nicolas Baggett was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vancouver Reds! Vancouver Reds:s Will McMahon showed great skill when he stopped Sotero Orozco:s penalty. 70 minutes into the game, Sotero Orozco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Will McMahon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frankie Carnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Ofelio Estrada was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Columbo Carceles came free, but Will McMahon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of ReyPoxo booed when Vancouver Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Head didn't get a good kick on the ball. ReyPoxo's Ofelio Estrada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley Ferrell in the 99th minute of play.
