Ezequiel Luke started the match with the kick off. The wind increased when Leonides Ofelio made the kick off in the second half. Flavio Nuñez made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Carmelo Feliz sent off a good shot on target. Romeo Pedroso came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de América's Arnoldo Stanislao. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Stanislao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Carmelo Feliz came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Flavio Nuñez could save by the left post. Romeo Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Stanislao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Estudiantes de América's Flavio Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Ofelio in the 65th minute of play. Club Universidad Nacional's Romeo Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Luke in the 69th minute of play. Flavio Nuñez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 79 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Stanislao cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Romeo Pedroso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Quexal in the 88th minute of play forced Club Universidad Nacional's goalkeeper Romeo Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Nuñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Ofelio in the 92nd minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match, Leonides Ofelio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Flavio Nuñez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
