Spectators: 7691 (Terracing: 5769, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Claus Buccino made the kick off which started today's match. Herbert Ahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claus Buccino in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Claus Buccino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Ahlqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Ahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenny Rubin in the 10th minute of the match. Herbert Ahlqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaetano Rothstein went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Blåvitt's zone, Laurenzo Wagner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Ahlqvist came out of the goal and Laurenzo Wagner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herbert Ahlqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Witzig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Blåvitt defense, Gaetano Rothstein kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herbert Ahlqvist. The Blåvitt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herbert Ahlqvist should have stopped the shot. Herbert Ahlqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claus Buccino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Laurenzo Wagner made a precise shot to the right of Herbert Ahlqvist. Blåvitt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Lenny Rubin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Espen Steelers were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Claus Buccino took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herbert Ahlqvist. Herbert Ahlqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 56th match minute, Espen Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claus Buccino to maneuver through the defense. Börje Sandwall hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Herbert Ahlqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Sauerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Blåvitt's Herbert Ahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claus Buccino in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Blåvitt's goal looked a bit too open when Lenny Rubin came free, but Herbert Ahlqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claus Buccino took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herbert Ahlqvist. Herbert Ahlqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Renato Azara replaced Fidel Righetti. Blåvitt's Herbert Ahlqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Blåvitt from getting a goal against them. Herbert Ahlqvist was a little too slow when Claus Buccino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenny Rubin in the 84th minute of play forced Blåvitt's goalkeeper Herbert Ahlqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes Dominik Sauerberg rounded Blåvitt's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. Blåvitt were furious when Gunnar Strandberg was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 93 played minutes Blåvitt got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Strandberg. After a defensive mix-up in Blåvitt's zone, Lenny Rubin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Ahlqvist came out of the goal and Lenny Rubin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herbert Ahlqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jochen Zeier in the 95th minute. Espen Steelers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
