The audience was convinced that Hjalmar Browald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mike Cassar Torreggiani was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Kevin Ekberg made in the 9th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gösta Lundberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glenn Raeijmaeckers in the 10th minute of play forced Papilio's goalkeeper Sven Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gösta Lundberg got free with Sven Andersson in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Papilio's Hjalmar Browald sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mike Cassar Torreggiani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 19 played minutes Blåvitt got a freekick which was hit by Glenn Raeijmaeckers. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Sven Andersson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The throw-in from Kevin Ekberg in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Papilio's Björn Säfström. In the 64th minute Glenn Raeijmaeckers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cauan Rosa was slow to take the kick. During this time Papilio's players had a chance to rest. Michel Lundberg tried in the 90th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Mike Cassar Torreggiani a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-4. When Kaj Bergsten came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Papilio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaj Bergsten couldn't finish the play.
