GREEN LIONS's Vaggelis Pantelidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Ares in the 4th minute of play. Jo Ares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chrisostomos Christodoulatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GREEN LIONS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Iacob Plăcintă scored to the left of an out of position Vaggelis Pantelidis, making the score, 1-0. Vaggelis Pantelidis made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Jack Ares sent off a good shot on target. Jo Ares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippos Kopelis in the 20th minute of the match. Jack Ares in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vaggelis Pantelidis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cazimir Dijmărescu came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vaggelis Pantelidis could save by the left post. Jack Ares might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vaggelis Pantelidis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jack Ares ran back to his position shaking his head. After 28 played minutes Ares FC -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Iacob Plăcintă. In the 31st minute Filippos Koutsokefalakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Ares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vaggelis Pantelidis made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Jack Ares sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

GREEN LIONS's Ignatios Papachronakis was substituted for Chrisostomos Christodoulatos. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filippos Kopelis was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Jo Ares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filippos Kopelis. The supporters of GREEN LIONS booed when Ares FC -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Plăcintă didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the GREEN LIONS defense, Cazimir Dijmărescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vaggelis Pantelidis. The GREEN LIONS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vaggelis Pantelidis should have stopped the shot. Filippos Koutsokefalakis in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jo Ares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Jack Ares got free in front of the goal in the 79th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Vaggelis Pantelidis was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vaggelis Pantelidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Ares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vaggelis Pantelidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Ares in the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Ares FC -MM- booed when GREEN LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sokratis Orfanopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the GREEN LIONS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ares FC -MM-.
