After 15 played minutes Bacardi FC got a freekick which was hit by Cedric Uytebroeck. Raymond Verheije sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee ignored GREEN LIONS's protests and gave Theofilos Tassatos a yellow card for diving instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robbe Winnepennincks to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Artuur Van Steen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bacardi FC and the GREEN LIONS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Dimitris Sakelariou sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bacardi FC's Steve Adriaensens didn't even have to move. Aimilios Siozos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steve Adriaensens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Prodromos Koufos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th match minute, Bacardi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymond Verheije to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bacardi FC booed when GREEN LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theofilos Tassatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steve Adriaensens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aimilios Siozos, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Anastasios Vazakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Bacardi FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Artuur Van Steen hit a great ball. Anastasios Vazakos scored 3-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Steve Adriaensens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Dimitris Kalokiris came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the GREEN LIONS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitris Kalokiris couldn't finish the play. Steve Adriaensens came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by GREEN LIONS's Aimilios Siozos. But to his dismay, Aimilios Siozos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Aimilios Siozos might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Steve Adriaensens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aimilios Siozos ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. GREEN LIONS had played much better football throughout.
