After a rather tough play, Saronida FC's Minas Rodanakis got a free kick in the 14th minute. Salvadore Abaunza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Vlassis Giannoglou made a huge save. In the 17th minute Markos Renieris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Vaca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arotza Abajas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Vlassis Giannoglou made a huge save. When Aaron Abascal came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Kalatakaya F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Abascal couldn't finish the play. Vlassis Giannoglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvadore Abaunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Saronida FC's Vlassis Giannoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Abascal in the 33rd minute of play. Daniel Vaca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Markos Renieris went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Salvadore Abaunza got a free kick in the 40th minute. After the first half Saronida FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Saronida FC made a substitution. Petros Maragoudakis replaced Simos Zacharenios. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aaron Abascal to make the kick off. When Charis Kastanakos came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Saronida FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charis Kastanakos couldn't finish the play. Diego Bejarano lost his temper 61 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The goalkeeper, Daniel Vaca, was totally fooled by Saronida FC's Markos Renieris, who 62 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Daniel Vaca made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Charis Kastanakos sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Saronida FC booed when Kalatakaya F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Abeita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fondas Kouvas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Vaca having to interfere. Markos Renieris did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Daniel Vaca 79 minutes into the match. Markos Renieris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Daniel Vaca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Markos Renieris came free, but Daniel Vaca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Minas Rodanakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arotza Abajas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Vlassis Giannoglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saronida FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
