Mazaredo AFC's Delmiro Ferrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olimpiu Dichiseanu in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mazaredo AFC's Adan Igon got a free kick in the 21st minute. Delmiro Ferrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radu Păvăloae in the 25th minute of the match. Gigel Tilea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tino Costa in the 29th minute of play. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Luisito Tercero charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisito Tercero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes Mazaredo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Tercero. With a little luck, Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea got control of the ball when Damaso Patrido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damaso Patrido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Gigel Tilea made a huge save. In the 70th match minute, Academia Rio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Oltean to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Adan Igon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olimpiu Dichiseanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigel Tilea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Mazaredo AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
