Herbert Oliszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Fantini in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Fantini in the 4th minute of play forced KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Herbert Oliszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Campana kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Sport Club Mavericks's Deivid Passos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Stanyo Tanushev, made in the 17th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Club Mavericks's zone, Leo Campana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manoel Peixoto came out of the goal and Leo Campana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th match minute, KS LEW Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakub Zjawin to maneuver through the defense. Herbert Oliszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Deivid Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the KS LEW Chorzów defense, Deivid Fantini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herbert Oliszewski. The KS LEW Chorzów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herbert Oliszewski should have stopped the shot. If Elder Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Sport Club Mavericks's Manoel Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Campana in the 57th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Baiano threw the ball into play from the sideline. KS LEW Chorzów's Robert Bugajski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 68 minutes into the game, Robert Bugajski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS LEW Chorzów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sport Club Mavericks the free kick. In the 68th minute, Robert Bugajski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manoel Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Degas, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Herbert Oliszewski came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Mavericks's Deivid Fantini. But to his dismay, Deivid Fantini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Korneliusz Sokol lost his temper 85 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 85th match minute, KS LEW Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korneliusz Sokol to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Baiano missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 87 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Herbert Oliszewski right hand side. Manoel Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Degas in the 94th minute of play.
