Abdulbaki Baytüzün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Eneas in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Isidoro Mirande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulbaki Baytüzün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Riquelme let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 23rd minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. Pedro Erramu's late challenge caught a Indiana University's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Erramu helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes WINNING ELEVEN got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Erramu. 26 minutes into the game, Ataol Reca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Celedonio Urtzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 45 minutes into the match, Indiana University's goalkeeper Abdulbaki Baytüzün had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Eneas. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Inocencio Eneas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 66th match minute, Indiana University was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necmi Cangun to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute of the match Leonardo Guib shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdulbaki Baytüzün showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Ataol Reca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdulbaki Baytüzün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Mirande, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. WINNING ELEVEN were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Indiana University's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedro Erramu took the corner. The supporters of Indiana University booed when WINNING ELEVEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Guib didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Ataol Reca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Indiana University's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ataol Reca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saltuk Sezmen hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Eneas during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes WINNING ELEVEN got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Eneas. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
