The supporters of Indiana University booed when FC Pepe Burrón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho Fahlmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th match minute, FC Pepe Burrón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Sandóval to maneuver through the defense. İbrahim Zikri's late challenge caught a FC Pepe Burrón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Özalp Haliloğlu made a kick off. Pedrinho Fahlmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Frits Lenoir made a huge save. In the 56th minute, Ivon Curiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ali Sungurtekin came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Indiana University fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Sungurtekin couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, Indiana University's Özalp Haliloğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Rivera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Orlando Rivera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yiğit Haşmetli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonid Afteni took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frits Lenoir. Frits Lenoir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.
