Spectators: 7701 (Terracing: 5777, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) FC Wil 1900's Mischa Guibord started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Galati Harbour Cats's Eusebiu Borza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantin Bocchi in the 2nd minute of play. After 6 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Konstantin Bocchi. Yanic Kulenovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Ponta, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Yanic Kulenovic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugen Duldurescu's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Yanic Kulenovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Duldurescu in the 12th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Eugen Duldurescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanic Kulenovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Konstantin Bocchi managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wil 1900's supporters rose to their feet, but Konstantin Bocchi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebiu Borza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manole Ghiondea hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Yanic Kulenovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Ponta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugen Duldurescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Duldurescu in the 30th minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Yanic Kulenovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When David Krause came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the FC Wil 1900 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Krause couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Ponta in the 34th minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Yanic Kulenovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viorel Ponta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Eugen Duldurescu made a precise shot to the right of Yanic Kulenovic. FC Wil 1900's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

51 minutes into the game, Eugen Duldurescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yanic Kulenovic. Eugen Duldurescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Viorel Ponta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Yanic Kulenovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konstantin Bocchi kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Yanic Kulenovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Duldurescu in the 76th minute of play. When Viorel Ponta came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Galati Harbour Cats fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viorel Ponta couldn't finish the play. Yanic Kulenovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Duldurescu in the 87th minute of play. FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lucian Brăescu 88 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucian Brăescu during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Galati Harbour Cats getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Lucian Brăescu hit a great ball. After 94 minutes Galati Harbour Cats's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Friedel Chalut who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FC Wil 1900's corner Friedel Chalut fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eusebiu Borza quite easily take care of the ball. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
