Spectators: 7570 (Terracing: 5741, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 70) When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Leal Roig sped through ΟΦΗ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sofoklis Stathatos. Fotis Triantafyllopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tasos Kalaboukis's late challenge caught a C.D. Ciudad de Soria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tasos Kalaboukis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ΟΦΗ's Tasos Kalaboukis got a free kick in the 9th minute. C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Marcos Palomar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save C.D. Ciudad de Soria from getting a goal against them. Chatziioannou Liadelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Frechoso Mondejar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fotis Triantafyllopoulos in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Palomar saved C.D. Ciudad de Soria from getting behind. Fotis Triantafyllopoulos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Marcos Palomar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marcos Palomar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chatziioannou Liadelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Petros Matsoukas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Marcos Palomar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Palomar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fotis Triantafyllopoulos in the 29th minute of the match. With a little luck, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Marcos Palomar got control of the ball when Fotis Triantafyllopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. ΟΦΗ's Sofoklis Stathatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leal Roig in the 34th minute of play. If Stefanos Labetis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Stefanos Labetis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Tasos Kalaboukis managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΟΦΗ's supporters rose to their feet, but Tasos Kalaboukis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Palomar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Palomar made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Fotis Triantafyllopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Tasos Kalaboukis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Palomar having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fotis Triantafyllopoulos to make the kick off. The supporters of C.D. Ciudad de Soria booed when ΟΦΗ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefanos Labetis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Frechoso Mondejar got a free kick in the 54th minute. Chatziioannou Liadelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Palomar having to interfere. After 72 minutes of play ΟΦΗ's Tasos Kalaboukis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Aintza Cienfuegos hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Chatziioannou Liadelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Marcos Palomar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Chatziioannou Liadelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frechoso Mondejar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofoklis Stathatos having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Chatziioannou Liadelis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΟΦΗ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. When Fotis Triantafyllopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the ΟΦΗ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fotis Triantafyllopoulos couldn't finish the play. Stefanos Labetis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 90 played minutes ΟΦΗ got a freekick which was hit by Chatziioannou Liadelis. There was no doubt that ΟΦΗ were the better team. ΟΦΗ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
