After a rather tough play, Estrellas de Caballito's Higinio Luzea got a free kick in the 15th minute. Ricart Lauwerens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Ciriaco Eneko put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Estrellas de Caballito:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SICARIOS Fútbol Club:s goal. César Pascual took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaime Venceslao. Jaime Venceslao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Estrellas de Caballito's Cleto Mano got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the last second Jaime Venceslao throw himself and got hold of the ball when José Francisco Guzmán in the 35thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Guillermo Chaparro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Bento in the 39th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, SICARIOS Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Bento came free, but Guillermo Chaparro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Estrellas de Caballito's Ciriaco Afonso pulled a muscle in his leg after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Anselmo Pitin fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estrellas de Caballito's protests and gave Anselmo Pitin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Anselmo Pitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, SICARIOS Fútbol Club's César Pascual tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Alberto Refugio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillermo Chaparro. SICARIOS Fútbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Refugio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Francisco Guzmán to strike the kick off in the second half. When Eugenio Delfino fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estrellas de Caballito's protests and gave Eugenio Delfino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Estrellas de Caballito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Delfino to maneuver through the defense. SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Guillermo Chaparro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save SICARIOS Fútbol Club from getting a goal against them. Guillermo Chaparro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Sabin in the 62nd minute of play. Sergio Floto kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. César Pascual struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Jaime Venceslao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SICARIOS Fútbol Club. 75 minutes into the match, Estrellas de Caballito's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Floto came free, but Jaime Venceslao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergio Floto in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaime Venceslao saved Estrellas de Caballito from getting behind. After 76 played minutes Estrellas de Caballito got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Sabin. SICARIOS Fútbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Jeronimo Bento scored to the left of an out of position Guillermo Chaparro, making the score, 1-2. In the 83rd minute Patricio Sabin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Chaparro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Anselmo Pitin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Guillermo Chaparro did a great save. After having played for 86 minutes, Jeronimo Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrellas de Caballito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeronimo Bento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guillermo Chaparro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The supporters of Estrellas de Caballito booed when SICARIOS Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Pascual didn't get a good kick on the ball. The SICARIOS Fútbol Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Estrellas de Caballito's performance. The match ended with a win for Estrellas de Caballito.
