The crowd rose to their feet as MUSHIBA FC's Tiaguinho Luz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Võ Gozali. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. After 11 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan de Almeida. 15 minutes into the match, JFSP's goalkeeper Võ Gozali had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Baptista. In the 18th minute Severino Macedo managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. 20 minutes into the game, Luciano Baptista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Võ Gozali was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Walmir Silva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Võ Gozali when he managed to save the team from getting behind. MUSHIBA FC's attentive Egídio Custódio managed to snatch the ball when Claudinei Hermes made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. After having played for 35 minutes, Tiaguinho Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MUSHIBA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiaguinho Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pietro Sales hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Võ Gozali made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Walmir Silva sent off a good shot on target. Tiaguinho Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pietro Sales to make the kick off. Flaco López blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rômulo Souto having to make a save. Flaco López could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Rômulo Souto made a huge save. Võ Gozali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Baptista in the 62nd minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, MUSHIBA FC's Perivaldo Donato nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Võ Gozali made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Võ Gozali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute Luciano Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Võ Gozali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Walmir Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MUSHIBA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiaguinho Luz in the 91st minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Võ Gozali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rômulo Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pietro Sales in the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the MUSHIBA FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
