A sloppy throw-in by Eriberto Almeida in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by JFSP's William Barbosa. In the 8th minute, Flaco López ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edson Bertassi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 14 minutes, Maurício Pires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JFSP and the Carrapichel - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to JFSP getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Maurício Pires hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, JFSP's goal looked a bit too open when Abel de Barros came free, but Võ Gozali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Carrapichel - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Váldson Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Edson Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 29th minute of play. Abel de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Võ Gozali having to interfere. The supporters of Carrapichel - FDFDF booed when JFSP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Eriberto Almeida threw the ball into play from the sideline. JFSP's William Barbosa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, JFSP's Juarês Barbosa got a free kick in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Rogério Alcântara notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of JFSP's Võ Gozali. Võ Gozali was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sílvio Luís Ceresso was the one to do the kick off. Acácio Neto struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Võ Gozali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrapichel - FDFDF. 59 minutes into the match, David Fernandes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Võ Gozali. JFSP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Fernandes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Eriberto Almeida got a free kick in the 65th minute. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Luís Moldavsky was substituted for Oséias de Brito. When Flaco López came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the JFSP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flaco López couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Fernandes in the 75th minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Võ Gozali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. JFSP's Võ Gozali proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save JFSP from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, David Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrapichel - FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but David Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Võ Gozali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Võ Gozali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Fernandes in the 82nd minute of the match. Võ Gozali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel de Barros in the 84th minute. JFSP's Võ Gozali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Fernandes in the 88th minute of play. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Acácio Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Fernandes in the 91st minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Võ Gozali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Võ Gozali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 97th minute, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Abel de Barros dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Carrapichel - FDFDF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
