After 3 minutes, Sílvio Luís Ceresso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JFSP and the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes JFSP got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Ceresso. The supporters of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF booed when JFSP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flaco López didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Alcântara in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Võ Gozali prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, JFSP's goal looked a bit too open when Nilson Paraibano came free, but Võ Gozali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Fernandinho Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 minutes of play JFSP's Sílvio Luís Ceresso was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Võ Gozali was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Róbson Prata. In the 23rd minute, Daniel Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Võ Gozali. JFSP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 26th minute, Laerte Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Róbson Prata took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Võ Gozali. JFSP's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Võ Gozali was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nilson Paraibano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 29 minute of play. Nilson Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Võ Gozali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Alcântara in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Maurinho Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 played minutes, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Róbson Prata shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Võ Gozali came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rondinone F.C - FDFDF reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nilson Paraibano made a kick off. Nilson Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, JFSP's goal looked a bit too open when Amauri Barros came free, but Võ Gozali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Paulo Peixoto charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Paulo Peixoto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF booed when JFSP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paulo Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Nilson Paraibano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Võ Gozali. JFSP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nilson Paraibano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF made a substitution. Jailson Almeida replaced Nelson Esteves. Nilson Paraibano took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Võ Gozali. Võ Gozali dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 73 minutes into the match, Daniel Alcântara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Võ Gozali. JFSP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Alcântara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. 83 minutes into the game, Nilson Paraibano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Võ Gozali was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th minute, Róbson Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Võ Gozali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Alcântara in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute Rondinone F.C - FDFDF were awarded a corner. Róbson Prata went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Amauri Rocha managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a little luck, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Rômulo de Almeida got control of the ball when Pedro Paulo Peixoto tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Daniel Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Võ Gozali narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
