Spectators: 8150 (Terracing: 6113, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 163) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Flaco López took the kick off in the first half of the match. Zé Carlos Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flaco López in the 11th minute of the match. Pragmáticos 1903's Thierry Henry got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Carlos Britto came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by JFSP's Flaco López. But to his dismay, Flaco López quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 18 minutes into the game, Danilo de Queiroz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zé Carlos Britto. Danilo de Queiroz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. JFSP's Võ Gozali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Henry in the 21st minute of play. Ferenc Puskás hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, JFSP's Danilo de Queiroz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé Carlos Britto. Zé Carlos Britto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 30 minutes into the match, Pragmáticos 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luís Ceresso came free, but Zé Carlos Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes of play, Pragmáticos 1903's Thierry Henry made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Võ Gozali was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laerte Fernandes's late challenge caught a Pragmáticos 1903's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laerte Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pragmáticos 1903 booed when JFSP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, JFSP's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Henry came free, but Võ Gozali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Eduardo Alves hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferenc Puskás was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Thierry Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Võ Gozali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Danilo de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 minutes, Walmyr Severo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pragmáticos 1903 and the JFSP players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pragmáticos 1903's Walmyr Severo got a free kick in the 58th minute. Zé Carlos Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Ferenc Puskás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim de Lara succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 62nd playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Pragmáticos 1903's zone, Flaco López stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Carlos Britto came out of the goal and Flaco López tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Carlos Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
