Floripa Lions FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Canalla de Chicago the free kick. The tension between the Floripa Lions FSCMZ and the El Canalla de Chicago players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Matthew Medrano took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Sydney Martins to make any attempt to save it. Sydney Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomás Gaspar hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
