Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eliseo Herena made the kick off which started today's match. Manel Villa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustacio Gaxan in the 4th minute. After 5 played minutes Stronghold S.A got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Danel. Gryffindor Lions's Gogo Vimaro got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 9 played minutes Gryffindor Lions got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Vimaro. A collision led to Stronghold S.A getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Sulo Ahola hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Gryffindor Lions's Manuel Tonio got a free kick in the 13th minute. Wilfredo Irrintzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Ahola in the 17th minute of play. Gogo Vimaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manel Villa having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Stronghold S.A got a freekick which was hit by Sulo Ahola. Manel Villa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustacio Gaxan in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gogo Vimaro in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manel Villa saved Stronghold S.A from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Stronghold S.A's goalkeeper Manel Villa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gogo Vimaro. When Eliseo Herena came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Stronghold S.A fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Herena couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Stronghold S.A getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Blas Lizer hit a great ball. The supporters of Stronghold S.A booed when Gryffindor Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Vimaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfredo Irrintzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sulo Ahola in the 40th minute of the match. After the first half Stronghold S.A were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
52 minutes into the match, Gryffindor Lions's Froilan Astrada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manel Villa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manel Villa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Tonio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Carlos Fernendo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stronghold S.A's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gryffindor Lions the free kick. A collision led to Stronghold S.A getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Carlos Fernendo hit a great ball. When Gerben Deitmers fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stronghold S.A's protests and gave Gerben Deitmers a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stronghold S.A! Stronghold S.A:s Manel Villa showed great skill when he stopped Manuel Tonio:s penalty. A collision led to Gryffindor Lions getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Americo Tabby hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Herena in the 66th minute of play forced Gryffindor Lions's goalkeeper Wilfredo Irrintzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manel Villa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Astrada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Stronghold S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Astrada came free, but Manel Villa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Eliseo Herena notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gryffindor Lions's Wilfredo Irrintzi. Wilfredo Irrintzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eliseo Herena hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Manuel Tonio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Manel Villa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Astrada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manel Villa having to make a save. Manel Villa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Astrada, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Leandro Jesco threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gryffindor Lions's Ramon Maurino quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Gryffindor Lions fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Stronghold S.A were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
