After 5 played minutes Flores Arlt got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Firme. Israel Geofredo made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 6thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ezequiel Silvino would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After 9 minutes, Severo Bernaldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flores Arlt and the Gryffindor Lions players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Flores Arlt getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Severo Bernaldo hit a great ball. Ramiro Betadur's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ezequiel Silvino firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Gryffindor Lions getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Severino Noe hit a great ball. Ezequiel Silvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Noe in the 16th minute of the match. Freddy Sabin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Angel Isusko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Gervasio Polentzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flores Arlt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Angel Isusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Polentzi in the 23rd minute of play. Angel Isusko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Polentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severino Noe's late challenge caught a Flores Arlt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severino Noe helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Gryffindor Lions got a freekick which was hit by Severino Noe. In the 36th minute Gervasio Polentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Isusko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Betadur's late challenge caught a Flores Arlt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Betadur helped the player get up and apologised. 45 minutes into the game, Flores Arlt's Emanuel Nesto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angel Isusko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Polentzi in the 51st minute of play forced Gryffindor Lions's goalkeeper Angel Isusko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Gryffindor Lions's Severino Noe got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Israel Geofredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flores Arlt's Ezequiel Silvino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ramiro Betadur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Flores Arlt's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Geofredo came free, but Ezequiel Silvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angel Isusko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Lucado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Isusko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 79th minute, Israel Geofredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gryffindor Lions fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Severino Noe hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Flores Arlt's Freddy Sabin got a free kick in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the Gryffindor Lions defense, Gervasio Polentzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel Isusko. The Gryffindor Lions fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Isusko should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Gryffindor Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Polentzi came free, but Angel Isusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Flores Arlt could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gryffindor Lions throughout the match.
