The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Hamza Le Forestier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Malm came free, but Brian Soria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brian Soria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Malm, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 6 minutes Formation Pure Lyonnaise's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arne Mårtensson who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Falconer FC's Arne Mårtensson to fire away a dangerous shot which Brian Soria despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rodrigo Péret hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Arne Mårtensson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brian Soria. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Stig Malm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brian Soria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Giliusson in the 19th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Verner Giliusson in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brian Soria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brian Soria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Giliusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Falconer FC's Verner Giliusson in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalie prevented a goal. The referee gave Falconer FC a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arne Mårtensson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Brian Soria. 0-1. Verner Giliusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Malm came free, but Brian Soria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falconer FC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Formation Pure Lyonnaise's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arne Mårtensson took the corner. 34 minutes into the game, Hamza Le Forestier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falconer FC the free kick. Hamza Le Forestier kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Formation Pure Lyonnaise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Bernal to maneuver through the defense. Arne Mårtensson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brian Soria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Formation Pure Lyonnaise's zone, Verner Giliusson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Soria came out of the goal and Verner Giliusson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig Malm in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brian Soria saved Formation Pure Lyonnaise from getting behind. Oskar Vesterberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Davy Giacomoni was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Falconer FC's Stig Malm ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brian Soria. Brian Soria yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verner Giliusson in the 56th minute of play forced Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalkeeper Brian Soria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Verner Giliusson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Brian Soria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 65th minute, Hamza Le Forestier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Verner Giliusson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Brian Soria when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Yohann Prévôt's late challenge caught a Falconer FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yohann Prévôt helped the player get up and apologised. Falconer FC's Arne Mårtensson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Formation Pure Lyonnaise. 72 minutes into the match, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Verner Giliusson came free, but Brian Soria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brian Soria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Giliusson in the 74th minute of the match. Brian Soria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verner Giliusson in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of Falconer FC booed when Formation Pure Lyonnaise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamza Le Forestier didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Verner Giliusson got free with Brian Soria in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brian Soria made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Verner Giliusson sent off a good shot on target. If Verner Giliusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute, Stig Malm reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Brian Soria. The goal made the score 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvald Ugla in the 87th minute of play forced Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalkeeper Brian Soria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Verner Giliusson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Brian Soria when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 90 minutes into the match, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalkeeper Brian Soria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Verner Giliusson. Alf Siöman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Soria having to interfere. If Oskar Vesterberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, Osvald Ugla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Brian Soria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Formation Pure Lyonnaise fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Falconer FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
