The tension between the Xl Team and the Los Patanes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Rolando Rumaldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erubiel Cordeal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Erubiel Cordeal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolando Rumaldo in the 9th minute. In the 17th minute Efrain Rius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinícius Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Rumaldo took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erubiel Cordeal. Erubiel Cordeal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Erubiel Cordeal was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Rolando Rumaldo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rolando Rumaldo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Abascal in the 29th minute of play forced Los Patanes's goalkeeper Vinícius Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Los Patanes defense, Ruperto Abascal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinícius Bueno. The Los Patanes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinícius Bueno should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Norberto Edwardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinícius Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Guillelmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinícius Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Guillelmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Los Patanes's Giotis Leontiou got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 48th minute, Cristobal Dantel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rolando Rumaldo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Giotis Leontiou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Rumaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Cordeal having to interfere. When Rigoberto Arnas fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Patanes's protests and gave Rigoberto Arnas a yellow card for diving instead. Vinícius Bueno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Rius in the 61st minute. Xl Team's Erubiel Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Rumaldo in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 played minutes Xl Team got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Eladio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Guillelmo in the 67th minute of play forced Los Patanes's goalkeeper Vinícius Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Los Patanes's goalie and right to Mateo Guillelmo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Los Patanes's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Vinícius Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Guillelmo in the 73rd minute of play. Rigoberto Arnas was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Giotis Leontiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Cordeal having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Los Patanes's Alejandro Fernández seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alejandro Fernández the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Los Patanes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alejandro Fernández had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Braulio Stanislao walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With a little luck, Los Patanes's Vinícius Bueno got control of the ball when Efrain Rius tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Los Patanes's Giotis Leontiou got a free kick in the 100th minute.
