Golden State Warriors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Octavia the free kick. In the 6th minute, Gernando Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Octavia booed when Golden State Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bebeto Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ian Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Txema Abadie in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Golden State Warriors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nesor Abadie was slow to take the kick. During this time Octavia's players had a chance to rest. Octavia's Nesor Abadie was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ian Paranaense in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihai Gherase in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Paranaense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Golden State Warriors defense, Iordanis Anastasiadis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Paranaense. The Golden State Warriors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Paranaense should have stopped the shot. Iordanis Anastasiadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Paranaense having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Golden State Warriors's goalkeeper Ian Paranaense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Mihai Gherase had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Mihai Gherase put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ian Paranaense. Iordanis Anastasiadis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihai Gherase struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ian Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Octavia. Ian Paranaense came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Octavia's Iordanis Anastasiadis. But to his dismay, Iordanis Anastasiadis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After having played for 44 minutes, Mihai Gherase managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Octavia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihai Gherase was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Octavia were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldinho Baptista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Ian Paranaense managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Octavia's Iordanis Anastasiadis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 53 minutes into the match, Octavia's Mihai Gherase sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ian Paranaense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mihai Gherase received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ian Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Golden State Warriors getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ronaldinho Baptista hit a great ball. Iordanis Anastasiadiss short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Ian Paranaense to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bebeto Mattos during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Golden State Warriors's Bebeto Mattos got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Mihai Gherase came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Octavia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihai Gherase couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Mihai Gherase took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Ian Paranaense to make any attempt to save it. Iordanis Anastasiadis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Ian Paranaense skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iordanis Anastasiadis got free with Ian Paranaense in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the game, Iordanis Anastasiadis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ian Paranaense. Iordanis Anastasiadis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Iordanis Anastasiadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ian Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihai Gherase scored 0-8 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ian Paranaense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute of the match, Mihai Gherase tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ian Paranaense saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dudu Moraes hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Octavia's Mihai Gherase ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ian Paranaense. Ian Paranaense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. The Golden State Warriors fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Octavia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
