Jorginho de Amorim made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by EC Fragata's Thomás Sá. In the 13th minute, Iordanis Anastasiadis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alan Antunes. The goal made the score 3-0. EC Fragata's Alan Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save EC Fragata from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordanis Anastasiadis in the 19th minute of play forced EC Fragata's goalkeeper Alan Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alan Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihai Gherase in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Octavia booed when EC Fragata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Mihai Gherase shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavia's Mihai Gherase got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iordanis Anastasiadis came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alan Antunes could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Octavia's Mihai Gherase slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alan Antunes. That made the score 4-0 after 27 minutes of play. Txema Abadie took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alan Antunes. Alan Antunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Gilmar Damião scored 5-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Frascuelo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the match, EC Fragata's goal looked a bit too open when Txema Abadie came free, but Alan Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-1.

EC Fragata's Alan Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihai Gherase in the 51st minute of play. Alan Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txema Abadie, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 53 played minutes EC Fragata got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Alcântara. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txema Abadie in the 56th minute of play forced EC Fragata's goalkeeper Alan Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to EC Fragata getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Antônio Alcântara hit a great ball. Nesor Abadie might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alan Antunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nesor Abadie ran back to his position shaking his head. Alan Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Txema Abadie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alan Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Gherase, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Alan Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihai Gherase in the 86th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Txema Abadie notched a goal, 10-1, to the right of EC Fragata's Alan Antunes. Alan Antunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mihai Gherase fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Antunes having to interfere. In the 94th minute Iordanis Anastasiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iordanis Anastasiadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Alan Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
