Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Mazinho Fernandez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eliseo Conrao received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mazinho Fernandez came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseo Conrao slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the match, HELVETIA's Luís Fernando Vergílio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Hamit Özercan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 16 minutes, Eliseo Conrao made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. HELVETIA's Mazinho Fernandez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mazinho Fernandez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eliseo Lore showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 19 minute of play. Eliseo Lore was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. HELVETIA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Eliseo Conrao scored to the left of an out of position Mazinho Fernandez, making the score, 4-0. In the 26th minute, Eliseo Lore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastião de Senna hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Adrianinho Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mustafa Hamit Özercan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Lore in the 34th minute of play forced HELVETIA's goalkeeper Mazinho Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mazinho Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Conrao in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Denílson Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Mustafa Hamit Özercan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eliseo Conrao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eliseo Conrao made the kick off in the second half. Mazinho Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Lore, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 52 played minutes HELVETIA got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Melo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Conrao in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mazinho Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 57 minutes, Volli Toomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Halcones Azules and the HELVETIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Halcones Azules:s Mustafa Hamit Özercan showed great skill when he stopped Frederico Vale:s penalty. HELVETIA's Mazinho Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Conrao in the 59th minute of play. Jonatan Elixio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mazinho Fernandez. HELVETIA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, HELVETIA's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Conrao came free, but Mazinho Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Halcones Azules's Evelio Quintyn was substituted for Eliseo Conrao. A collision led to Halcones Azules getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Evelio Quintyn hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in HELVETIA's zone, Esteban Vitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mazinho Fernandez came out of the goal and Esteban Vitin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evelio Quintyn in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mazinho Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Esteban Vitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes Halcones Azules got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Quintyn. In the 85th minute, Esteban Vitin made a precise shot to the right of Mazinho Fernandez. HELVETIA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Luís Fernando Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Evelio Quintyn sped through HELVETIA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mazinho Fernandez. There was no doubt that Halcones Azules were the better team. Halcones Azules's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
