HELVETIA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aníbal Brasil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Mazinho Meireles quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alex Paes, made in the 15th minute of the game. When Aurelio Paris fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's protests and gave Aurelio Paris a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Paris to maneuver through the defense. HELVETIA's Frederico Vale took a good shot, in the 18th minute, which hit the crossbar above Magne Allbom's head, and flew over the goal. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by HELVETIA. When Yu Yang Bing came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yu Yang Bing couldn't finish the play. The THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Aníbal Brasil looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 26 minutes of play, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Aníbal Brasil made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mazinho Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Aníbal Brasil sped through HELVETIA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mazinho Fernandez. Mazinho Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aníbal Brasil went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. HELVETIA's Mazinho Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Brasil in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Yu Yang Bing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yu Yang Bing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Frederico Vale in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Mazinho Meireles. Mazinho Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aníbal Brasil struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Mazinho Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ. HELVETIA's Mazinho Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Brasil in the 45th minute of play. Sebastião de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Francisc Mândru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mazinho Fernandez. HELVETIA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Fernando Vergílio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aníbal Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Brasil in the 54th minute of play forced HELVETIA's goalkeeper Mazinho Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aníbal Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mazinho Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Brasil in the 56th minute of the match. HELVETIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ the free kick. A collision led to HELVETIA getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Denílson Cunha hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the game, Aníbal Brasil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Mazinho Fernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Yu Yang Bing got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mazinho Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Aníbal Brasil received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mazinho Fernandez came out and tried to block the shot, but Aníbal Brasil slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, HELVETIA's Sebastião de Senna got a free kick in the 78th minute. Yu Yang Bing blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mazinho Fernandez having to make a save. In the 85th minute Aníbal Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazinho Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aníbal Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mazinho Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Brasil in the 86th minute of play. Mazinho Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aníbal Brasil's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Mazinho Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, Yu Yang Bing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Mazinho Fernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the HELVETIA defense, Aníbal Brasil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mazinho Fernandez. The HELVETIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mazinho Fernandez should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
