Pajala Sunrise's Daniel Hök played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Galle in the 5th minute of play. In the 8thth minute of the game Gýmir Gryc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA VIOLA's Stig Byström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stig Byström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gýmir Gryc's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Gýmir Gryc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ola Lövkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Hök read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Tuna Tunander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Daniel Hök tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Sonny Billing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in LA VIOLA's zone, Sebastian Tolsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Byström came out of the goal and Sebastian Tolsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th match minute, Pajala Sunrise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Odén to maneuver through the defense. Stig Byström was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Yngve Sandström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yngve Sandström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 35 played minutes Pajala Sunrise got a freekick which was hit by Yngve Sandström. When Sebastian Tolsson fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pajala Sunrise's protests and gave Sebastian Tolsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th match minute, Pajala Sunrise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Tolsson to maneuver through the defense. LA VIOLA's Stig Byström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gýmir Gryc in the 38th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sten Galle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Gýmir Gryc made a precise shot to the right of Stig Byström. LA VIOLA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gýmir Gryc in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig Byström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pajala Sunrise's Gýmir Gryc got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pajala Sunrise made a substitution. Börje Axelsson replaced Linus Klemensson. When Pajala Sunrise's Gýmir Gryc in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LA VIOLA's goalie prevented a goal. 77 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Galle came free, but Daniel Hök reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Tolsson was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Sebastian Tolsson kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The supporters of Pajala Sunrise booed when LA VIOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ola Lövkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Mathias Nässén was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pajala Sunrise's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA VIOLA the free kick. The audience was convinced that Arne Tingelholm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig Byström was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Arne Tingelholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Byström having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Gýmir Gryc came free, but Stig Byström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pajala Sunrise had won after a very even match.
