David Ferran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qu Yan Nan in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Club 23's goal looked a bit too open when Fatih Özbay came free, but Remus Vuia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Fatih Özbay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC WAWER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fatih Özbay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club 23's goalkeeper Remus Vuia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 17 minutes Club 23's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marek Tomporowski who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Club 23 booed when FC WAWER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dida Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stelian Orescu made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Liu Chao Xiao immediately put the ball in play. Club 23's Remus Vuia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Italia in the 30th minute of play. David Ferran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qu Yan Nan in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, FC WAWER's Rostyslav Leonenko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remus Vuia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Club 23's Liu Chao Xiao nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Ferran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Marian Italia put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Remus Vuia. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ragnar Lönn was the one to do the kick off. Fatih Özbay in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After a rather tough play, Club 23's Valeriu Toacsen got a free kick in the 80th minute. Mariusz Chazen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. It was a well-played corner which Borys Palzewicz managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The FC WAWER supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC WAWER would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
