After 3 played minutes Dionisia got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Xacintu. In the 11th match minute, Dionisia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheng Xiong Yuan to maneuver through the defense. Denis Ereinotz made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Celta de Virgos's Dündar Aynacıoğlu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Beturian in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Ascencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Benny Niva made a precise shot to the right of Aquiles Senio. Dionisia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The supporters of Celta de Virgos booed when Dionisia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Naelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Cordero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquiles Senio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Gomez in the 34th minute of play. Zacarias Ascencio came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Dionisia's Arnaldo Beturian. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Beturian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Dionisia's Florencio Chano was substituted for Denis Ereinotz. Aquiles Senio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benny Niva in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Beturian was the one to do the kick off. Leonardo Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquiles Senio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Niva in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Celta de Virgos's Alexis Sanchez got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Celta de Virgos's Leonides Corderro was substituted for Orlondón Lagos. Celta de Virgos made a substitution. David Astudillo replaced Benny Niva. The supporters of Dionisia booed when Celta de Virgos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Sanchez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melchor Gregory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Ascencio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Gregory in the 74th minute of play forced Celta de Virgos's goalkeeper Zacarias Ascencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, David Astudillo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aquiles Senio, 1-3. Aquiles Senio made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when David Astudillo sent off a good shot on target. The Celta de Virgos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
