The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jeremias Fresco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stellan Wallmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Florian recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hugo Sikström. Arnoldo Florian showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Arnoldo Florian let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 20th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Arnoldo Florian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celta de Virgos's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Florian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Sikström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Sundborn IF's Hugo Sikström got control of the ball when Arnoldo Florian tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Arnoldo Florian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sundborn IF's Hugo Sikström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Niclas Kielberg hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Antonio Madeo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Celta de Virgos getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Antonio Madeo hit a great ball. Karl-Axel Klint struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jeremias Fresco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sundborn IF. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnoldo Florian during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stellan Wallmark to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Kåre Myhr in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Celta de Virgos's Lázaro Dominix. Hugo Sikström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Florian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Sikström came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Celta de Virgos's Fernan Moise. But to his dismay, Fernan Moise quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Celta de Virgos made a substitution. Diego Erasto replaced Arnoldo Florian. Sundborn IF's Tor Ahlbom was substituted for Börje Åkesson. A sloppy throw-in by Pål Arvidsson in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Celta de Virgos's Antonio Madeo. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Oskar Bergman hit a great ball. Celta de Virgos's Jeremias Fresco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Celta de Virgos from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when Celta de Virgos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Dominix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Fresco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tor Ahlbom in the 90th minute. Tor Ahlbom struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jeremias Fresco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sundborn IF. After 95 played minutes Sundborn IF got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Salah. Celta de Virgos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
