In the 2nd minute, Vivant's Hilário Bento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Goyeneta. Carlos Goyeneta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Carlos Goyeneta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilário Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Marin Lipets lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Carlos Goyeneta. The Vivant fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Vivant's Marin Lipets looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 19 minutes into the match, Clemente Claude had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of A.J. 关平. Vivant's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemente Claude was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Carlos Goyeneta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Larry Hallam's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Gaviotas FC's Carlos Goyeneta got control of the ball when Marin Lipets tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27thth minute of the game Larry Hallam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaviotas FC's Carlos Goyeneta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led Vivant's Clemente Cisneros to a score. 4-1 in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Sebastian Cresenciano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gaviotas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vivant the free kick. A collision led to Gaviotas FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Sebastian Cresenciano hit a great ball. A.J. 关平 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Claude in the 34th minute of the match. Marin Lipets in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Goyeneta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Gaviotas FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Leon Eguzki hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Hilário Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Goyeneta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vivant were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Gaviotas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Youri Van Der Talen took the corner.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Larry Hallam made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Vivant got a freekick which was hit by Claitinho Marley. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vivant's goalkeeper A.J. 关平, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute Marin Lipets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Goyeneta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Vivant's A.J. 关平 got control of the ball when Clemente Claude tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Gaviotas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Lipets came free, but Carlos Goyeneta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Hilário Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Goyeneta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hilário Bento in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Goyeneta saved Gaviotas FC from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Charro Moreno made a precise shot to the right of A.J. 关平. Vivant's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. 95 minutes into the game, Vivant's Larry Hallam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Goyeneta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. Vivant's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
