Atlético San Alejandro's Chan Abel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willem-Alexander Candries in the 9th minute of play. After some careless play in the real dixmuda defense, Elia Merczak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andre Iwens. The real dixmuda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andre Iwens should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute Elia Merczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Iwens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Elia Merczak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andre Iwens was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Weterio Abendano kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Jordy Van Den Bosche sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atlético San Alejandro's Chan Abel didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Elia Merczak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético San Alejandro's supporters rose to their feet, but Elia Merczak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andre Iwens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hubert Mesmaeckers hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Chan Abel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorre De Hondt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Jordy Van Den Bosche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Chan Abel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 41 minutes into the match, Atlético San Alejandro's goal looked a bit too open when Willem-Alexander Candries came free, but Chan Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorre De Hondt to make the kick off. Andre Iwens came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético San Alejandro's Elia Merczak. But to his dismay, Elia Merczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 57th match minute, real dixmuda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordy Van Den Bosche to maneuver through the defense. Cesareo Abajas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Atlético San Alejandro's Chan Abel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético San Alejandro from getting a goal against them. Andre Iwens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Merczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético San Alejandro's George Abechuco was substituted for Elia Merczak. When Cevat Tekinalp fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético San Alejandro's protests and gave Cevat Tekinalp a yellow card for diving instead. 83 minutes into the match, Jorre De Hondt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chan Abel. Atlético San Alejandro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorre De Hondt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorre De Hondt in the 87th minute of play forced Atlético San Alejandro's goalkeeper Chan Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The real dixmuda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andre Iwens should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the match, George Abechuco notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of real dixmuda's Andre Iwens. Andre Iwens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Atlético San Alejandro players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
